Member Survey Results

Thank you for participating in the Teton Board of REALTORS® member survey.  You can click here to view a brief summary of the survey results.

This survey is telling us that our members:
  • Want more education, especially technology and marketing classes
  • Want more social and networking events
  • Prefer luncheon meetings over breakfast meetings
  • Want more social events in Lincoln and Sublette County and Teton Valley
  • Fewer than 50% would attend education that does not provide CE credit
  • Have incredible talents to offer

In an effort to improve our services to our members, we are working to incorporate these suggestions into our future planning.  Watch for new education opportunities, social events in Lincoln County, Sublette County and Teton Valley, ID and networking events presented by our new Young Professionals Network chapter.  We are asking for a member from the Pinedale area, Lincoln County and Teton Valley to volunteer to help us organize events in their area.  Please contact Nancy Clancy, nancyclancy@jhrea.com, if you would like to help.  The Board is excited and committed to make these opportunities available, but the reality is that the future of these offerings will rest solely on how well they are attended. YOUR participation is what will make the difference.

In early June, TBOR will be offering a Marketing Class, taught by local business owner John Morgan.  This fall, we will be offerng a technology class taught by a renowned national speaker.  Please know that TBOR makes every effort to provide continuing education credit on all courses that we offer, but due to WREC guidelines we may not be able to secure CE credit for classes on marketing and technology.

Please mark May 12th on your calendar for the Jackson Hole Highway Clean-Up.  TBOR will be cleaning our designated section north of town – please plan to join us!  Details will be sent soon.

The survey also tells us that the range of talents offered by our members speaks to the incredibly diverse backgrounds of our professionals ……….  Who knew that one could juggle and sing bird calls at the same time?  We hope to showcase this talent at our summer luncheon.

Congratulations to the winners of the three $50 Amazon.com gift cards: Richard Lewis, Carol Hainey and Brian Siegfried.

Best regards,
Nancy Lee Clancy
