2010 Board President
Teton Board of REALTORS® is proud to present Penny Gaitan 2009 REALTOR® of the Year
For her faithfulness to the principles of organized real estate and the Code of Ethics of the National Association of Realtors as well as her efforts to encourage good real estate practice among other real estate professionals, Penny Gaitan is the 2009 Teton Board of REALTORS®’ “Realtor of the Year.”
As Responsible Broker of Art Hazen Real Estate and the 2010-11 Secretary for the Teton Board of Realtors, Penny’s leadership, professionalism and sincerity serve as a benchmark for the real estate community. For more than 27 years, Penny has conducted her real estate career with the highest of ethical standards and unwavering professionalism. Her presence in the industry has been a cornerstone of stability and strength.
Congratulations Penny!
Teton Board of REALTORS® proudly announces Clarene Law Town Square Inns as their 2009 Business Person of the Year
Clarene Law has been in business in Jackson for 47 years, beginning with the Antler Inn, and has successfully established the Town Square Inns as a productive and vital element in the town’s lodging network. As a fixture in the local community, she has been a consistent counselor to and supporter of other businesses as well as a role model to entrepreneurs of all walks, especially women. She employs hundreds of people bringing jobs, payroll, tax income and — ultimately — tourists to Jackson Hole. Clarene also cares deeply for her employees, and her compassion for her extended family is very likely a key to her success.
As a member of the Wyoming House of Representatives for 14 years from 1990 to 2004, Clarene’s business acumen and focus were readily apparent when she served as Chairperson of the Travel, Recreation, Wildlife and Cultural Resources Committee for 8 years. She served another 4 years as the Chair for the Minerals, Business and Economic Development Committee. She continues to serve on the Wyoming Business Council, which she also helped found.
Clarene’s work ethic and overall attitude is a model for us all; treat people well and give of yourself, and success follows.
Congratulations Clarene Law!
